If a copy of the database was made as described in Create a copy of the database , you can switch to this copy with the following call
Preparation
i-effect must be terminated for this action with
IEFFECT/ENDEFFSBS *ALL
During the action, the i-effect subsystems may not be started automatically. This can be prevented by setting the following environment variable
ADDENVVAR ENVVAR(IEFFECT_AUTOSTARTSBS) VALUE(*NO) LEVEL(*SYS)
Switch i-effect to another database
In a terminal, type the following command to switch the existing installation to database IEFFECTDBX
QSH <enter>
/i-effect/v2r8m0/base/tools/scripts/setup.sh --mode switch --source *dbschema --targetname ieffectdbx
