Premapping-Group

The Premapping-Group is the first group in a mapping and is the first one displayed in the new mapping definition in the editor after the mapping is created.

Tasks can be used to dynamically pre-set variables using SQL look ups or other such processes or other preparations before a mapping is executed.

Prejob Tasks

Tasks to be carried out after starting the job but also before performing the actual mapping.

Premapping Tasks

Tasks to be carried out before the mapping starts.

Default Values

The Premapping-Group can be used to set Default Values for target data fields and run tasks before the job is initialized or running the actual mapping.
