Indexing

The menu item Indexing is used to manage definitions for the new i-effect file parser. The file parser indexes all incoming and outgoing data and assigns index values to them. Based on these index values, processes in the area of monitoring in the communication input and output as well as conversion input and output can be tracked and assigned.

The i-effect FileParser works with definitions. For each definition, conditions are set that cause the index values to be determined. The index values are determined by means of regex.

With i-effect some standard definitions with conditions and index values for the formats EDIFACT and XML are already installed. These definitions already delivered with i-effect are marked as not editable and can only be switched active or inactive.
